WHEN SAVIOR TURNS DEVIL. !!!!!

One thought which used to ring in my mind superficially since childhood was :- what if all the good people, everything good around us turn into devil ? Can we imagine the kind of society we will have ? Can we imagine the atrocities of people on people ? Can we imagine the sufferings ? Off course not ! And thank god that it was just superficial thought.
But what compelled me to write this title " When savour turn into devil " is a leaf off the same book which was imagined superficially and was never actually turned into a book in the library shelves. Oh no ! Did i say library ? Well, i am sorry if I reminded people of some squeeze moments from their past which is hard to find today in this computer age. Anyways what also re-enforced my feeling is that, this saviour thing is often compared with god. Yes ! you heard right ! GOD and i am talking about none other than doctors of our society.

Again when i am writing about the doctors i would like to exclude those few who are not only dedicated to their profession but have earned respect as well. You look around and you would find patients complaining about doctors, either they were cheated with hefty hospital bills which is illegal because of inappropriate decision and prescription  of doctors or they had to spend a fortune for a miner disease / illness. There is a deliberate attempt to commercialise this profession. Doctors get a cut from multinational drug makers for prescribing their drugs to the patients. The generic drugs / medicines which usually costs far less than the multinational drugs hardly makes into the prescription. There was a time when one doctor or rather a Vaidya used to take care of all the illness for the people of several villages no matter what the illness is but today inspite of having specialised doctors for different illnesses we are falling sick and dying like chickens.

We all know that a doctor should not feel the pain of the patient else he/ she would not be able to treat the patient but i am sure unless they feel the sufferings of a patient, a patient would be nothing for them but a body given for practice.

I have come across many incidents in my life  where life was betrayed over money. At times I found life so incompetent that it could not last for few more minutes or seconds to see the money arriving to rescue life. We have heard this many a times that  the only religion of a doctor is to treat their patients without defining the caste, creed, religion or faith but maybe things have changed a bit. Haste has replaced caste, greed has replaced creed and delusion has replaced religion but faith has remained faith and only transformed from noble to ignoble. What also surprises me is the fact that these doctors are turning out to be an authorised paid killers in our society, at times i have also felt that we pay doctors for our own oppression and merciless deaths.

What could transform them back to their noble profession is not mere speeches or thoughts but an strict action against all the doctors who are involved in such heinous crimes. It is our responsibility as well to be alert and highlight such incidents in public and to the concerned authorities and also keep a track of the proceedings. This will definitely bring the expected change in the society and hence our beautiful country India.
Cheers !!!!!!!!
